Gaugely

Privacy policy

Effective date: July 7, 2026

Gaugely does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage data, or telemetry to the developer or to any third party. There are no analytics SDKs, no ads, no tracking, and no developer-operated backend.

Where your data lives

  • Server configurations (Grafana URLs, display names, auth method) are stored on your device. Auth secrets - service account tokens, passwords, custom headers - are stored in the iOS Keychain.
  • Query history, settings, and cached dashboard data are stored locally on your device (and in the app's App Group container so widgets can read them).
  • Network requests go directly from your device to the Grafana servers you configure. There is no intermediary or proxy operated by the developer.
  • News panels fetch the RSS or Atom feed URL configured in the dashboard. That request is sent without any of your server credentials.

Notifications, widgets, Siri

Alert notifications are generated locally on your device by polling your own Grafana servers in the background. Widgets, Live Activities, Shortcuts, and Spotlight indexing all read only the locally stored data described above. No push-notification service or remote server is involved.

Data sharing

Gaugely shares no data with anyone. Data leaves the app only when you explicitly share something, for example exporting a chart image with the iOS share sheet.

Deleting your data

Removing a server in Settings deletes its stored configuration and Keychain secrets. Deleting the app removes all remaining local data.
